I am so frustrated. The scale has been up and down the same 1-2 pounds for a month now. I look at the Sunday Weigh in every week and am so jealous of everyone that is dropping. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy for everyone...this is such a nice group and everyone works so hard. I have a couple of friends that are 18 and 24 months out and they assure me that the loss isn't over yet. But I am really worrying. I want to loose at least 45 more pounds....

Vicki, I am RIGHT THERE with you. I have 50 lbs to go and the scale isn't moving! I fell way off plan last week on vacation and gained 1 lb, but it was gone when I weighed myself this morning. I can only hope the scale will keep moving down. I feel like I'm doing everything right-tracking my intake, getting plenty of water and protein, etc, moderately exercising, and I am very scared and nervous that I'm done losing. My lowest adult weight was 186 lbs. Right now I'm 187, and I'm scared that I'll never get to that size 6 that I dream of! At least we're in this together-thanks for posting this. I too was feeling alone-I have felt happy for everyone that is so successful and losing so consistently, but also have felt like a freak because I haven't lost anything in so long.

It is nice to know there are more people like me out there. I just want to get to a size 12 and I will be happy (of course I say that now...) Just keep plugging I guess...

I have had the same issues. Loss is slowwwww. I get ticked when my weight goes up but then I lose all of a sudden. I am finally getting weaned from the scales a bit. I try to only weigh 1-2 times a week. That way I can avoid fluctuations which prey on my mind. I am only 15 lbs from goal so I know my weight loss has to be more 'normal'-meaning lucky to get a small loss each week. Weather changing has impacted my exercise and activity. I realize I need to get moving to keep weight loss happening. You are not alone! I keep coming back for weigh-ins because it is one of my success habits to keep me accountible. These habits are vital for my long term success. I can at least celebrate when others have good things happen. I know they will be there to share with me when my success happens to.

LOL....stuck I am in the same place you are....Yes I called my Angel last night and she is almost 2 years out and she said the same thing....but she also told me that there is a major stop around this time....well atleast she did the same thing...but you know what...these are the first major holidays that we are dealing with and It is new to us....Hang in there and my instructions last night were to increase my water and try to get more protein....I know you can get things moving again....and in a week or 2 you will have a major drop....hang in there and know you are not alone

Hey Vicki, I'm sorry you are stuck and I've felt this way too. I read the Sunday Weigh in's too and feel like I've been on the slow side. It's a double edged sword - I want to relate to others who are going through what I'm going through and make comparisons but sometimes I feel like the freak as well. My cycle of weight loss has been a bit odd. I will go 2 - 3 weeks without losing anything and then bam - drop 4 pounds. Just this past week I called my nutritionist about feeling scared that I wouldn't lose any more, etc..all those fears..then the next 2 days I lost 3 more pounds. So yes, I've been stuck. We all are unique and our bodies will behave that way through this process. You are not alone and we ALL are afraid to go through this and not lose the weight we intend and ream of losing. Hang in there...you are not alone...and please post again when things start moving so we can help you celebrate! Peace! Susan My stats: DOS 4/24/07 282 Today 182 Goal 145

Yes. I know how you feel. I am stuck as well. I am so ready to see that scale move down. I loose 2 lbs and then gain 3. I know I need to exercise. I have lost 43% and I want to loose another 35 lbs. I keep thinking my anniversary is only 4 months away but I am truly greatful to be at this weight. I remember last year at this time I was looking forward to surgery. Slow is ok as long as it is steady and it has not been steady for a few months.

I know how you feel. I was doing the up and down thing since the beginning of November and suddenly in the last 2 weeks I dropped four pounds and another two the next week. Hang in there it will happen, just stick to the program. And make sure you're eating enough, too few calories the body going to hold on to it.
