I AM SO PROUD OF EVERYONE.......COME ON A-TEAM......Keep it up
Hi everyone! I just got back from a week's vacation and gained 1 lb. I didn't track my protein and I fell WAY off the wagon. I had ****tails, sweets, carbs, 2 lattes per day, basically everything I shouldn't, but of course in much smaller quantities than before. By the last couple of days of our trip, I actually got sick of eating that way and focused on protein and veggies again. Today I'm back on track and feeling great. I don't know if this is good or bad, but I honestly don't feel guilty. It was wonderful having everyone tell me how great I looked, and flying was SO much easier now! I couldn't believe how much room I had-my tray went down, the bathroom was no problem, I didn't overlap into the seat next to me, etc.
Late entry for me.... christmas party last night.
I was 189.8 for a few days last week, but with more sodium than I should eat over the weekend, I plumped up to 191.8, so about the same as last week. Not sure if I want to lose anymore though - my pants fit just fine now. I'm readjusting my protein levels now that I've only got 190# to maintain. I'd been trying to get 100g per day, but that would support 220# of person. I've been trying to get between 70 and 80g per day now, and not sweating the carbs quite as much. Trying to get a better balance overall.
Still, I find that it's hard to even consider "good carbs" when I've been on a protein push for so long. I just think "what's the use of eating them". Anyhow - will try broadening the horizons just a little bit at a time. So long as the scale stays put, that is!
