help!
Hey Everyone,
I need some help/advice. I hit my goal a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have lost another 3.5 pounds. The weight is still coming off fast. Will the body soon regulate itself or what? I'm afraid. I dont want to be stick thin. I never thought I would be complaining about this but too fat now to skinny "extra" . Should I call the Doc. Next time I see him is in Jan. I also usually loose 3-5 pounds when It's that time of the month. I used to gain weight at this time. I also had not so good news with blood work for an upcoming surgery. All the blood work was fine except my clotting time was low which in turn means I clot way faster than I am supposed to so they will have to put me on blood thinners. They said this was from the birth control pills and not the surgery. I dont Know what to think. Any input would help!

We have been taught that the body will start to regulate itself when you reach a healthy weight. Our re-routed insides will start to regenerate some of the same functions they had before.
Sounds like you might have to add more carbs to your diet. I would defnitely not wait and call the Dr's office right away. Does your Dr have a nutritionist on staff? You really need some qualified and educated advice.

Well as for your weight....way to go...and you probably should call your doc if you are concerned.. What I was told is sometimes this happens but you have to remember that you will naturally regain some back...I think it was up to 10%....but I might be wrong on that percentage. but as for the blood work...I too was and am having thicker blood....they said that it could be from the body being so used to making so much before and it has not caught up with the weight loss and also I could be dehydrated...Well Call your doc...and tell him/her your fear and concerns...I hope this helps.
