Sunday Weigh In!!!!!
Hi everyone, and welcome to the April board, Lesa!
It's been a crazy couple of weeks for me. Looks like I'm going to be starting a new job at the end of the month. Actually, I'm going back to an old company in a bigger job - the one where I worked 1000 hours a week and put on 45 lbs in the process. I'm a little nervous about going back to a place w/ a free buffet of food for employees all day long and an ice cream machine, but I feel like I'm in a different place mentally and have committed to putting my health first this time around. Last time, it wasn't even a thought in my mind; i just wanted comfort food all the time! I know it will be different now.
Anyway, I've had a good week.

Way to go, Jeff! I am so happy to hear that you are no longer in pain, Shar. Here are my stats:
Pre-op: 240
DOS: 232
Today: 148
Two pounds lost this week.
For the record, I met my doctor's goal a long time ago, but I'm still working towards getting off the BP meds, whatever that takes. I don't think I'm there yet, so I can't say I'm at g-o-o-o-o-a-l, so Jeff, yes you are the first in the group! Yay!
We are all doing so well. I'm proud of all of you.
Marcia
Hi everyone! Congratulations Jeff-that is just AMAZING. I am so proud of you! This week I cut WAY back on refined carbs and I have to say, I'm feeling much better. I've noticed that when my diet gets too carby I get moodier and more tired. I seem to be on much more of an even keel when I'm sticking to protein, fruits, veggies, and whole grains.
Anyway, here are my stats:
I'm down 1lb this week and happy that I'm losing again.
Highest: 293
DOS: 297
Today: 187
Total loss: 106 lbs!
