I am NORMAL!!!
Yeah, well, Crystal, we have to agree that "normal" is a relative term. I know I will never be normal in a lot of respects - for one thing, I have a wierd sense of humor and I try to do things "outside the box" (to do things normally, as I said in another reply, would be b-o-o-r-r-r-i-n-g.) For another, now that I've had my insides rearranged, I no longer have a normal intestinal tract. (Makes me kind of wonder in a thousand years from now when they have other ways to correct our situation - if they haven't figured out how to keep you genetically or otherwise from getting fat in the first place - how they will view our surgery. It will probably be considered barbaric. Not that I care of course.) And while BMI is the way you measure your progress, it is not the be-all and end-all either. But, heck, having been the fat girl all my life, I'll take it.
(said in a sing-song voice) "I'm normal, I'm normal, I'm not the fat girl anymore!!!! My brothers are fatter! That's even better!"
Hee hee hee. Yeah, I'm feeling good. And I wish everybody in this lovely group of people the same!!!
