Still Sucking It Up In The Hospital.......and an apology!

Hey fellow A-Teamers!!! How ya'll doing? So, I really SUCK at keeping up with the board. I'm such a bum. I just hope ya'll understand what I'm going through right now and how hard it is for me to read about everyone else's successes and failures and struggles........especially you guys who are RIGHT there with me as far as the time frame of all of our surgeries. I know that may not make a lot of sense, but if you put yourself in my shoes, you might be able to understand how I might feel this way. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't care, because I DO.......too much for my own good sometimes, but I'm the type of person that takes other people's troubles and tribulations to heart......often to my detriment. I dwell and dwell on other people's issues and some things can really worry or sadden me..........often to the point where I start suffering, either mentally or physically. So now it might make more sense...........that right now my physical health needs to be my number 1 priority and I can't do anything to put that in jeopardy. I REALLY hope to God you guys understand that! I'm SO sorry! With that being said, I'm STILL in the hospital. Today is day 20 and there's no end in sight. I can't type out EVERYTHING that has happened, but I've kept my blog on my profile updated. My most recent "happening" was that I had surgery on Thursday and had a biopsy done on my small intestine and hope to have the results back early this week. I hope each and every one of ya'll are doing well! I really apologize for my absence. I WILL be back..........hopefully soon! You all take care! Allie

Ohh Allie we understand and yes you need to be # 1 on your list..Just know that we are still thinking about you and I hope that you can get home soon and feeling better than you have ever felt...

Allie there is no need to explain hun! We totally understand how you feel and sympathize with all that you are going thru. You don't ever have to apologize for not keeping up on the boards. Right now your first priority is yourself and you need to focus all your energy on getting yourself well. The A-team is here to support you and I know we are all thinking of you and remembering you in our prayers. Thanks for the update once in a while... it's always good to hear from you. We will keep watch on your profile to keep informed of any new developments with your health. Praying the doctors are able to give you the proper treatment and help you need to fully recover! Thanks Lisa!! I'm so glad ya'll are still here for me even though I'm being a schmuck and not giving too much support myself lately. Drives me batty!!!! I'll keep you guys updated......seems I'll be stuck here for a while. I hope I can get home for Thanksgiving at least!

Hi Allie, it is soooo good to hear from you. I agree with Lisa-don't ever feel like you have to apologize! I am so sorry you're still in the hospital-you have had such a tough time and I can't even imagine how you must be feeling. I think of you often and pray for your health-thank you for keeping us updated. LOL Thanks for sticking by me and supporting even when I haven't been as supportive as I'd like. Just makes me feel bad. THanks INky. I just feel bad when all's I do is hog up support and can't seem to give enough or a lot back. But, the time will come that I will get back to normal and can give more. I just want to make it home by Thanksgiving or I think I will REALLY lose my mind! Allie

Allie. You need to be your #1. We all are thinking about you when when you are not here. I am really hoping that you will be on the mend soon. This has to be the worst for you!!
