My newest wow moment!!

went to rogers and Hollands to have my ring cleaned. I asked to size my finger just to see and my ring is getting size today from an 11 to 8 1/2 it felt a little big and I can always have it resized again later but holy cow I went down 2 1/2 sizes in my ring finger!!! The best part he said it is free to have it re dipped and sized. loving life Dee

Hey. I know what you mean. When something like that happens you know the weight loss is real. I still find myself drawn to clothes that are an 18/20. My mind will not let me believe that I can actually fit a 12/14. I hold the clothes up and they look little--well too little for me. My feet were so wide before and now my shoes look like they are 2 sizes too big for me. I wore an 8 1/2 size shoe and now I have no idea what I need. I've been embarrased to say that I think my feet are getting smaller. But wow they are!!!

Isn't that funny.....Mine is doing the same thing but I am waiting to get it resized...I told my mom my fingers must have been fat....lol.....but that is greta 2 1/2 sizes in your finger....

I know what you mean. I can't wear my mothers ring anymore it falls off. I inherited a few peices of jewlery from my grandma in February and she was such a tiny little thing I figured I would never wear her things but I tried one of her rings on the other day and it fit. I can also wear my sisters rings too which means I am in a 7 1/2 ring size which is awesome. It's so strange knowing that other parts of our bodies are actually shrinking too because you don't think about fingers and feet being fat.

Yep, I can relate! All my rings are getting too big for my skinny fingers. I plan on getting them resized as soon as I reach goal. I went shopping the other day for a new pair of jeans and OMG... I was shocked when a size 14 was too big on me. I can't believe I bought a size 12 and they fit great! I just kept looking at those jeans thinking that is waaaay too small for me... but wow, they fit! I am truly enjoying this WLS journey!

Yup, it's all very cool, except the great shoes and jewelry that don't fit anymore. I bought my first pair of size 14 jeans w/ no stretch and, come to find out, my friends tell me that I must actually wear a 12 because the ones I bought were from Old Navy and they (apparently) run small -- who knew? I wanted to return them right away and go find these 12's that they swear will fit me everywhere else! I didn't, but I can't wait... Have a great weekend everyone. shana

That's awesome! I was just commenting to my hubby that my ring is getting loose. I never thought that would happen to me, because even at 312 lbs I wore a size 7 1/2. My fingers and hands have always stayed really skinny.. I think it might have to do with my guitar, and piano playing. I don't know. So I was surprised when it started flipping around on my finger. I wear my wedding band now on my middle finger... in eastern countrys that's where they wear theirs.. (I've been told) They believe that the middle finger is connected to the heart.. "awwwww". Shoes... ya.. gone down just a half size.. but that's cool with me. More then anything.. they don't hurt anymore! It's this awesome!! Congrats Dee! You deserve it!
