SUNDAY WEIGH IN
It's coming off so slowly now, I can't really remember what I reported last week. However, I'm down to 150...one pound shy of having a "normal" BMI. And, with the doctor's scale, I've moved the weight thingy down from the "150" notch to the "100" notch. I really don't intend on losing too much more anyway. Here are the stats:
Pre-op: 240
DOS: 232
Current: 150 (90 pounds from pre-op!!!)
Goal: 149 (to make the BMI "normal")
Have a good week, everybody!!! We are doing so great!!! I'm proud of every one of you.

Hi everyone,
Looks like all of you did so great this week! I am stunned by the big drops some of you had. I'm sorry to say that this week was terrible for me-I ate candy and cake every day, didn't keep up with my water and protein, and as a result the scale didn't budge. However, I am now back on track. I took some time out to reflect on why I'm veering off program, and tried to put myself back to where I was pre-surgery. I remembered how horrible I felt and how I never want to go back there again. I thought about how lucky I was to have insurance that paid for such an expensive procedure, and how many people without insurance or funds would love to be in my place, and it inspired me to try my very best to get to goal. I joined a new gym on Saturday and went swimming, which is a step in the right direction.
The good news is, I went shopping for some warm clothes yesterday and it was so fun to be in a size 12! It is so weird to be able to go into any shop and buy stuff-I hardly know where to go! The selection is so much better, not to mention cheaper.
Thanks everyone for inspiring me-I know we can do this!
