The reason I had this surgery was to be able to play with my future Grandkids.
Well It looks like I got this surgery just in time. My daughter-in-law is expecting a baby, this is the first grandchild for me and I can't be more thrilled.
My twelve months from surgery is April 12 and her due date is July 1st.
I will be going to Key West, Florida to see this grandbaby.
It will be so nice to have this weight off. More incentive to stick with the program.

Well I have to say congradualtions on the future grandchild ..
We were told on Halloween that my oldest daughter who has been trying for a year and being undergoing infertility treatments is expecting a child ... due july 10th . they told her she was releasing 2 eggs and it took well at least 1 egg did take LOL we r so happy for her ..
We were so worried how our second born daughter was gonna take the news after losing her 12 month old daughter a year ago but she is so excited for her sister she went out and got her future neice or nephew the first baby out fit and day by day pregnacy book... for her sister... she said finally a reason to go back to the baby section .. she said babies r gifts and we r blessed to have another join our family .. we miss out Kaite girl and even tho she was only here a year we still had the best grand baby of all . We have a angel now how many grandmas can say that?
We have so much to gain when we lose weight ... we r gonna see them grow

Congrats on the Grandbaby! I cannot wait til mine gets back stateside so I can play with and spoil her rotten.
The birth of my grandchild was a major wakeup call for me and one of the big factors on my pursuing WLS. I wanted to be around to watch her grow up. I wanted to be able to do activities with her without getting winded.
