Percocet my best friend!

Hi all! I had my knee surgery on Monday and all I can say is PERCOCET is my best friend! Dang, I didn't know knee surgery could hurt so much. I think it hurts more than the gastric bypass surgery. Oh well, at any rate the surgery was a success and all went well. It can only get better as time goes on. I'm stuck on the couch this week and only get up to use the bathroom. I'm using a walker and my kids mock me as I slowly shuffle along like a little old lady. I start therapy next week... which ought to be fun....NOT! It will be a while before I can weigh myself because I have some heavy gear on my leg which adds like 10-lbs to me. So, it will be interesting to see how much I weigh after I can finally take off my immoblizer brace. I fear not being able to exercise will reap havoc in my weight loss... but taking the percocet seems to really curb the appetite so maybe it will all balance out. Cheers!

Thank God for Percocet huh?? LOL I hope you have a speedy recovery so you can get back to your new self I will be keeping you in my prayers. Cindy

Thanks everyone! Today is a better day... and tomorrow will be even better. The percocet is doing a great job and I was able to put a little more weight on the leg today without screaming out in pain!
