After doing the slideshow....I started thinking
You know, that is a REALLY good point Shar. I really feel Crystal's pain, I finally bumped down half a pound today, but I measured on Friday and I had some good inches lost for the month. I shouldn't forget that is as important - if not more so - than the scale.
I put my measurements on my profile if anyone is interested.
Thanks for bringing that up Shar!!
Inky (now 1/2 pound less crazy)
Crystal,
I just wanted to say that you are doing GREAT!!!! I know that the stalls are hard on you but please know that you will once again begin to lose. One day you will wake up and be amazed because the scale will REALLY move downwards. I stalled for about 7 weeks and thought that I was going to have to accept that I had come as far as my body was going to allow me to go..... Then low and behold...... I got up and over night had lost 11 pounds!!!! Keep your head up and keep doing what you are supposed to do and it will fall off before you know it. I went out and found the smallest pair of pants that I could get into and everyother day tried them on and realized even though the scale wasn't moving... The pants got bigger and bigger!!!

I have to agree with everyone else. I hit a stall and i really thought i was going to have to accept the fact that i was probably finished losing. Its weird though because that was the same time most people were making comments and calling me "skinny"....i wanted to scream at them! Didnt they know i wasnt losing??!!
I did begin losing again (thank God) and i realize now that i was actually losing inches during that stall and that is what people were noticing. Dont pay too much attention to the numbers if you can help it Crystal. I know its hard but if it helps take measurements so you can see it there when you dont on the scale!
You're doing great!! Hang in there...you'll see
I have really slowed down with weight loss the past 2 months as well and know it's really frustrating. However, I am having a dress made and the other day I had a fitting and my friend was like do you realize you have lost like 3 inches in your waste since the end of Sept. I was shocked because I know the scale hasn't moved but I must be loosing something. Plus I bought a size 14's the other day and they won't stay on. It will get better just keep your head up and do what you are supposed to and it will come along.
First off, cutting all your hair off is a really cheesy way of dropping a few ounces... GEEZ! .
Second, You've come a long ways already. Sometimes our expectations outrun our scales. That doesn't mean we're not making significant progress.
Three, This has never been a competition. It's all about YOU and your journey. Relax, and enjoy the scenery along the way.
Four, you look GREAT. Don't sweat the numbers.
Five, you're a HUGE part of our little A-team gang. Enjoy all of our success'es, but don't ever interpet one persons success as a failure on your part. That's just not fair.
Hang in there Sinead (O'Connor- google her). The worst is behind us.
