6 month update!!!! :)

Hello everyone!!! First I must give a huge congrats to shar!!! You look fantastic!! I love getting to sit and chat with you at our appointments!!! It was so great to watch out transformation online and then in person! I can't weight till our A-Team meet up!!!!! OK so many awesome things happened to me! I went on my very first amusement type rides wed. I went on the great big slide you go down with the burlap sack. I have never done that in my entire life. I fit up the narrow step without turning sideways! I also went on a ride call the hang glider. It just went up and down and around but I was able to be latched and the bar had room. I am ready for six flags or somewhere like that now! I saw my best friend who hasn't seen me since my 3 month check up and she was in tears she was so shocked when she seen me. I went to my 6 month check up I lost 94 pounds and my surgeon was very happy! I also handed him my resume. He said I will be the next person he hires to work for him but it may be a couple months!!! I am SO excited. He said it would be great to have someone work for him who has had surgery with him. I am so excited! I have been wanting to move back to Chicago since I left in 93 I now will not only get to work with people I love and respect,but I will be moving home to chi town!!! This was the best 2 day of my life. The best part of it all was on the way home we stopped at a rest area and let the kids play for a couple min. I fit going down the curly slide. My daughter wrapped her arms around me and said mommy you fit I am so proud of you! It is so overwhelming just typing it. I can't believe all the little things I missed out on because of my weight. I can run jump play and have a blast with my family!! OK thats my novel today lol have a great weekend see you Sunday at the weigh in.

Wow I can see the difference. woohooo the curly slide....now you are going places...I am so happy for you...those slides are hard to go down when you are a certain size.....I am so proud of you

Wow girl!!! Just reading your post put a smile on my face!! I've definitely noticed all the things that I've missed out on with my kids and it's sad, but also motivating that soon we'll be able to do ALL those things with our kids that we've been longing to do. A 94 pound loss is awesome!!! You've done very well!! I'm so proud of the accomplishments you've made and apparently your surgeon has noticed too as you're gonna go get to work for him!!!!!! How cool is that???? Girl, those WOW moments are just going to keep rolling in for you!! Allie

WOW, I just looked at your pics, and can't believe the transformation! You look SO beautiful! It's amazing how many great things are happening for you-I'm so excited for you! And being able to go on the rides with your kids is really wonderful-reading this made my day!

I am so excited for you. It means so much to know how each of us has reclaimed our lives and are building for a better tomorrow (okay now I sound like a politician). The little things in life mean so much. Congrats again!

Dee, It was so wonderful to see you yesterday. You look fantastic. Your pretty face is even prettier now. Please, change your pic so everyone can see the new you. I can just picture you going down the slide with Hope. She is so adorable. Make sure Nick gets me the biggest pumpkin , like he promised. Both kids are great. Greast news about Dr. F hiring you. Dee, your kids are absolutely adorable! My 6 year old has yet to take notice, but oh well, thats kids right? Anyway, you are a beautiful woman and I am soooo jealous of your long gorgeos hair!!!!!! Congrats on a fab day w/ your family! I have a total fear of heights, so I can't say I will be on any amusement rides in the near future. but have fun woman! Dawn
