HELP ME compile a book and win $$$$$ for Christmas!!

Hi Everyone!!! (This post looks a LOT prettier on the main board!! LOL) Ok, I've decided that I want to compile a book of inspirational stories. With all the turmoil I've been through lately, I want to hear and read some good inspirational stories for a change! I want to hear what YOU think about other people that have inspired you or affected your life in some way or another here on Obesity Help. I know I have truly been blessed by some really awesome people here. I know you have to and I want to hear about it!! I am prepared to offer a $50.00 gift certificate (of the winner's choice) OR $50.00 cash to the person that offers up the most inspirational and touching story, because this is THAT important to me! I can only afford to give away ONE cash prize, so it has to be really good! And with Christmas coming, it may help YOU TOO!!! OK RULES!! (You knew there had to be some! ) * Needs to be AT LEAST 1 page in length. Single spaced, some smaller type font. Grammar and spelling are not so important and will NOT be taken into consideration. As long I can get the drift of what you're saying, that is the most important thing. * Please email it to me at [email protected] as either an attachment or you can type it directly into the body of an email. Please title the email "Inspiration Book" so I don't accidentally tra**** thinking it's junk mail! If you choose to type it into the body of an email, please make sure it is going to meet the 1 page minimum. DO NOT send it through OH or post it to the board. Please ask any questions you may have here in my post so that others may see the answers too! * The story itself must be about ONE person ONLY that you've truly been inspired by here on Obesity Help. Please only mention their username, even if you know them by their real name, for privacy concerns. No, this is not going to be published, only put together for my reading enjoyment so no one's personal information is going anywhere. Tell me why they've inspired you, why they mean so much to you. How their story is similar to yours. How they have impacted your life or how you see them impacting others lives. Basically.....anything positive and inspirational of course. * Somewhere at the top of your story, put YOUR Obesity Help username or whatever name you would like for me to refer to you as. The title of your story should be the person who inspired you. Here's a sample of what I'm looking for. My inspirational person will be Santa Claus: Allie (Put YOUR NAME here) Santa Claus (PERSON YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT) Santa Clause has been so inspirational to me because..............and blah blah blah a whole pages worth after that. * Now can you write about more than one person? ABSOLUTELY!!! As long as there is a separate, one page submission for each person you write about. You may turn in as MANY submissions as you'd like as long as each one is ONLY about ONE person. I hope everyone has fun with this and that I get a lot of responses. Remember, this has to be about someone that has inspired you here on Obesity Help. Deadline is OCTOBER 20th by Noon Central time!!! (but try to get them in early! ) I will have them all read and judged by October 30th. Winner will be announced on Halloween by 10:00pm central time. Remember, this is for $50.00 in either a gift certificate OR cash. There WILL be a winner, whether there is 1 submission or 1,000!! Christmas is coming up so it would make a great Christmas gift or make Christmas shopping a little easier............just for typing out a one page story!!!
