Sunday Weigh in ??

Well useually I wake up and weigh myself then jump on here to post so since there isn't one yet I will start. Highest 357 march 15 Dos 349 april 2 today 263 sep 30 total lost 94 pounds 3 pounds this week!!! Finally more then a pound.

That's crazy. My six month follow-ups are on the 11th too!! Not with the same doc of course.. but still a coincidence. This may sound a little crazy but these boards are the outlet for my crazy thoughts these days... I am cutting way back on carbs and kicking my protein way up before my appt to post the biggest loss possible. I know. I'm sick. I don't care. It's still gratifying to get the oohs and aahs from the docs

how much more protein are you going to take in? I want so badly to lose these 6 pounds before my appointment and decided I was going to cut down on my food and drink 3 or 4 protein shakes and tons of water. I am also kicking up my exercise this week to 2 times a day. Just wondering protein wise because we are around the same height 5'9 right? thanks and good luck to you of course you have been kicking major ass from the get go!!!

Yep, we are about the same height-wise. I am more concerned with bringing my carbs down (for these 10 days only, then I am back to my NUTs guidelines), so my main goal is to keep the carbs around 50g. I will just keep my protein on the high end of my range (maybe a little higher). Based on what I have planned to eat today, I should finish the day with ~115g of protein. Gooooood luck!

Wow, 115g of protein!!! Tell me what you're eating and how you could achieve that in one day. Are you drinking protein shakes to get the bulk of your protein? Or is it all from food? I am struggling these days to keep up with my protein intake and remember to take my vitamins. I have just been so stressed out with family matters lately that I literally forget to eat and forget to take my vitamins. I do drink plenty of water but I know I am not treating my body healthy by starving myself. I gotta get back on track here. I'm down 70-lbs. so far and weigh 177! I only have 30 more pounds to loose before I reach my goal of 140. So, I'm not worried about my weight loss... but I do need to focus on being more healthy.

Again, I want to say that this is short term. I just want to see if a slight modification for the next 7-10 days will increase my weight loss. I have heard that it helps to introduce a little variance if you slow down. Sort of wakes your body up I guess. So 115g of protein, here is what today looks like: B: 1/4c. All Whites with 1/4c extra lean ground taco beef and 1 slice of cheddar cheese (19g of protein) S: EAS Protein Drink (17g of protein) L: 1/2 Trader Joe's buffalo burger with 1/2 slice pepper jack cheese and steamed broccoli (26g protein) S: Grande SF/FF latte (12g of protein) D: 1/2c homemade turkey chili (14g of protein) S: Atkins chocolate peanutbutter crisp bar (11g of protein) S: AchievOne Protein Drink (20g of protein) That comes to 119g. Normally, I would leave off the second protein drink, but I am going to give this a try and see what happens. Also, this seems like a lot to eat in a day, but I should mention that Monday is a loooong day for me. I eat breakfast around 5:30am and probably won't go to sleep until 11pm-12am. So these are spread out with about 3-4 hours in between. Don't be worried about your loss! 30lbs is nothing and we are only 6 months out. You will be there in no time!!
