Week of vomiting and stoma now swollen

I was doing so well tell a week ago when I got a migraine and started to vomit and I quit vomiting for one day and then I got a cold and now my stomach is full of muscus and stoma is now swollen I went to the doc and he put me on psuedofed and zofron for vomiting and was told 3 days clear liquids and no more vomiting and well I have not vomited today but I feel I am not digested any liquids because of the thick mucus is in there ugh .. anyone have a problem like this? Doc gave me the weekend to get better or he will unfill me.. ugh any hints to flush the mucus out? Lisa

I am feeling better just very hard being on clear liquids again and to only be able to drink fluids is kinda frustrating. What makes me mad is no where in brochures or pre op seminars do they tell u about this SO not only is vomiting a big time enemy but a cold and post nasal drip is aswell. I have bad allergies grrrrrrrrrrrrr Thanks for kind words Lisa

Thanks Shar comming here helps me even if none of are going threw the same issues but what we do all have in common is battling obesity I am so thankful I have such a kind Doc and very sympathic to me .. he also had a really bad cold and the muscus in his gut was getting to him and he said Lisa anytime u can't deal with this I will go ahead and losen u but he said I hate to mess with your wonderful success and just hang tough and wait for the swelling go down. Told me call anytime day or night if it gets so bad. I am hanging tough for now. but man I could use a nice juicy steak right now LOL.. to bad surgery never cuts out those kinda cravings LOL I had no idea lap bands were a ______ but on the upside 3 to 4 lbs a week on proper restriction is heaven, onederland is around the corner I can feel it

Thanks Marla.. I keep saying this to shall pass .. but I did fit into short term goals pants and tops .. so hard to beleive a XL shirt fits me .. gets me every time to see it looks so tiny to me and I always say no way am I that size and everytime I put it on I say oh yeah it is worth the minor bend in the river LOL.
