Met my first goal!!!
Ok guys - sharing this with my A-Team friends! I met my first goal this morning...to weigh what my driver's license said I weighed for 40 years!! I got my driver's license when I was 16 and weighed 160. Well, every time I'd get it renewed, they'd ask if anything changed, and, figuring it was none of their business, I'd answer, with a straight face, um...no... I'd get a look, but they'd leave it alone (well, o****il this last time - I finally had to 'fess up.) I made 160 this morning! And, the irony is, I still don't weigh what my license says. Only now it's in the other direction!!!
That's also 80 pounds:
presurgery: 240
DOS: 232
Now: 160!!!!
Final goal: whatever I need to weigh to get off my last blood pressure med...
Have a lovely week, everybody!
Marcia
Mercifully, Michigan doesn't display your weight on your driver's license. But I could see where it would be irritatating confessing that everytime you renewed.
Congrats on achieving this major milestone on your journey. You'll be off those BP meds before Christmas- I'm guessing.
Enjoy your new life as a thin, healthy person.

Marcia that's awesome!!! Wow, I can't believe you're down to 160 already...good for you! My license says 160 too and has for years even though I've been in the 200's for over 9 years! I'm looking forward to reaching my license weight.... I'm only 22 pounds away before I get there!!! Cheers to your success!
