5 Months and STILL NO FILL !

My cousin was banded the same month as me. I was April 2nd and her on April 30th the major problem is that I have had a fill every month since being banded and she still remains unfilled. She has tried several times and had several failed appointments with her surgeon to get her first fill and it is almost 5 months since her surgery and she had gained all of her weight back. As to be expected she is highly upset and discouraged and upset at the fact that she will have to literally start from scratch. I wanted to know if any of you have any information on a fill center or another doctor that she can go and see that she can continue her post op care with it would be grately appreciated.

First of all getting fills other than from the doc who gave u surgery is next to impossible and people who went to mexico ever harder time I hear. I hear radiologist can also do a fill under a flourosocopy that maybe alt choice for your cousin Lisa

Hey girl, I'm sorry to hear your cousin is having such a rough time. I just wanted to remind you that there is a specific board for lap-banders and you may get more response there.
