Yes I think we all are seeing this slow down but one thing I did was I stopped thinking about the scale and I said to myself....Ok now lets say that this 80 lbs is it that is all you will lose are you happy with this?....and I said yes because I know in time I will lose more,, but as soon as I said that I was happy with this 80 lb. loss then I stopped worring about the scale slow down.... All I can say is try to make good decisions and it will happen.
I have hit a major slow down over the past month or so. I was stuck around 180 for over a month going up and down up and down. I have really started watching what I am eating and doing a bit more excersize. I am going down again but very slowly. I want to be at 100lb loss by my 6 months from day of surgery which means I need to loose another 12lbs by October 10th. I am now starting to doubt myself because things are going so slow. If I can hit that mark I will be very happy and not care to much if I have more loss then that.
My advise would be to monitor what you are eating and change your excersize a bit to see if that helps. It's what works for me.
Oh yeah, mine's slowed way down! This is normal though-the weight loss isn't over! I find that if I'm not careful I can graze on cookies or granola or crackers way too easily, so I had to stop buying them. If they're not in the house I can't eat them, right? Don't give up-most RNY people keep losing for 12-18 months, and some for more than 2 years.
My weight loss has slowed down big time. I've lost 78 pounds, but I'm only losing a pound or so every couple of weeks. (I started out as a relative light-weight, though, so I didn't have as much to lose as others.) However, I'm happy. I got off of insulin, which was a major goal, and I'm happy with my current size. I could probably exercise more often than I am, but I'm not always able to do so now that summer is over.
It's nice to know that a lot of A-teamers are experiencing slow downs. Must be normal 5 months out.

add me to that list as well! I know mine is definately from lack of excersice however. When I hit the gym last week, I broke my plateau and dropped about 4 lbs. Carbs has also been a major road block for me. I have two kids, and have resorted back to picking at thier left overs. This was something that my therapist kept harping on me before surgury. Looks like I have to be even more dilligent now. Those old habits are starting to creep back in......
