Yummy new protein shakes... with a discount!
Hey everyone! My friend just started up a new company where she's selling all sorts of yummy whey protein shakes! Exciting.... I think so! I know I'm always looking for new flavors to try. The flavors include Bananna split, chocolate mousse, French vanilla, Mint chocolate ice cream (my favorite), orange creamsicle, Peaches and cream, pinapple blast, strawberry shortcake, tropical chocolate (also awesome!) and unflavored. These are a great source of protein for us, and the nutritional values of them rock. Ranging from 100-150 calories depending on the flavor, and all of them contain only 1 gram of sugar, and pack an amazing 24-25 grams of protein per serving. These can be mixed with water, or milk. Anyhow, if you should decide to give them a try, she's offering us a 12% discount for now. All you have to do is enter promotional code MARY12 at checkout. Her website is http://www.allthewhey.com/banu.html She has all different sizes, as well as sample packs where you get a bunch of the flavors to try out. Let me know what you think.... I'm sold on them!
Enjoy!
Much Love
I love my morning protein shakes as well. However, my NUT told me to quit them- no more calories from liquids. (Of course, with my selective hearing affliction, I didn't quite catch that one)
I'm pretty particular with my proteins, though. I'm sold on the Natures Best Isopure whey, french vanilla. Blend it up with a banana, strawberries, a cup of FF milk, and a handful of blueberries and ice cubes, and I'm off to the races.
Thanks for the tip though. It's nice to know what's available.

My NUT says the same thing about no more protein shakes. Why is that I wonder? I mean what's the difference if we get our protein from liquids & foods as long as it's not all liquids? I don't see what the difference is as long as we are still eating foods and mixing it up a little. I hate eating breakfast in the morning so a quick shake does the trick for me and settles my tummy. Besides, that's what I was doing before I had the surgery. And it works for me so why mess with a good thing! LOL! I'm with you DD on selective hearing!
