4.5 months out, 67 pds down and pregnant
Yes, it was a shock to me!
This is my 3rd child, wow!
I still have another 43 pounds I would like to loose! Did I ruin my chances of ever loosing the weight? Will I gain weight? I'm so scared, I"m overwhelmed!
Is is safe to carry a child, I have read on the web that there could be birth defects. I have also talked to others that say they were in the same situation and everything worked out for them.
WOW, just very overwhelming~
Check out the pregnancy board if you haven't already!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Allie
I worked with a gal who was pregnant shortly after surgery, and although the baby was a bit smaller (ok, if you think 7 lbs is small...) than her others, everything was A ok! I am sooo happy for you! Babies are just awesome! You;ll be fine, but I aggree, keep your OBGYN and RNY doc. on the same page. Communication is going to be essential during this time!
Congrats!!! P.s. I LOVE your name! Had I delivered a girl, that was my 1st choice of names. After having two boys, I am done, done, done!!!
keep us posted, K?
My gf daughter got pregnant 10 mos post RNY and was chewed out by everyone who was connected to her surgery..
Well she had a heathy 7 lb boy and gained 24 lbs and only had 10 to lose when he was born ..
She went to dietician and followed her eating plan to the T and she did not even get a streach mark .. she was never anemic and eating right was a full time job.. but the dietician said your baby will take what it wants and your body will suffer .. but if u want to both do welll u need to eat the right amount of good calories and good food.. she never lost her hair and in fact she looked so good 1 week after she had that baby .. she said her hunger went away 3 weeks post op and now back into her size 2 jeans .. she did exercise and omg I cannot beleive she was 295 and is now 110 ..
She looks amazing.. but then again she was 18 WHEN SHE HAS SURGERY LOL YOUTH..
