Four Month Surgi-versary

At about this time, four months ago I was either still on the table or waking up in ICU... I think I might have still been on the table at this point because I remember when I started to wake up it was in the afternoon already. Anyway, it has been a pretty crazy time so far. As of last week's weigh in, I am down 72 pounds since my first weigh in @ my consult, 58 pounds since surgery (4/23/07) and 80 pounds since my highest recorded weight (diary entry 1/5/07). My largest clothing size, that I knew of, was a 32... I remember last year around November, I didn't bother buying a winter coat because I couldn't find a store that made one that would fit me. I even ordered two different coats from catalogs and neither of them fit. These days I can comfortably fit into a size 20 (starting to get loose).

Awesome! And your just getting started, sister. By this time next year people will be calling you "Twiggy". Enjoy. DD

Thanks so mu*****y... What's funny is that the stuff I ordered from the catalog last year is WAAAAAAY too large on me now. Got a good laught out of it, at least.

WOW, 80 lbs. is SO much weight! This winter will be so much different than last winter! You'll be walking around in your new adorable coat that you bought off the rack! Congratulations on your success!
