So Happy, Wow moment!

So today I was trying on some jeans that I had purchased recently. I started with the 24's and they were all too big. Funny thing is that I bought them a few weeks ago and they were quite tight! I was given a pair of jeans as a gift today and they were a size 20. I thought for sure that they would be way too tight, to my surprise they fit!! I was so happy!! I called my friend that gave me the jeans and thanked her for making my day!! This wow moment comes right after I made century club status this weekend. I am really loving my RNY!! This has been such a life changing journey! My kids are all so happy that I have made all these great changes. I am taking all 6 kids and going to my brother's house in Va. My husband is unable to get the time off of work so he will join us for labor day weekend. We are going to do all sorts of day trips. I would not have had the energy or the drive to do this before the surgery. I am so looking forward to being out and about with all of them. So Happy with my new life!! WOO HOO!!

That's great Marla!~!!!! I know what you mean about getting into smaller sizes. I can finally shop in JcPenny's tall section! I better up my limit, eh? Virginia sure sounds fun..I hope you have a wonderful time!

That's so great Marla! Congrats! I had something similar happen to me. I live in France right now and I can't find pants that I like, so when my friend came to visit from the US she brought me some from LLBean. When I placed the order I was wearing size 24W (from LLBean also), so I figured I should get some 20W and 18W. I was so sure they wouldn't fit yet I didn't even try them on when she first arrived. WRONG! Not only did the size 20W fit really well, but I could even put the 18W on, those were tight, but just being able to try them on was a major surprise! I think I hang on to clothes too long, even when I look like a clown in them. Just yesterday I used a clothes pin to hold my shorts up around the house. That's a bit much now that I think about it! I just came home from a cruise and in many cruise photos I can see how my clothes don't fit right. I'll just have to bite the bullet and go shopping I suppose, I don't like shopping or spending, but some things have to be done...

So awesome to see u get into size 20 pants and before u know it size 18 and so on..... Hard to believe that a pants size is 11 lbs lost Lisa
