Allie, I want you to know I thought of you during my vacation, and I came to check on you as soon as we got home. Glad to hear you're home also. So, this intusseption thing, how does it resolve? Does your stomach eventually stop folding on itself? Can they fix it surgically? What sort of 6 month outlook do you have? Hang in there, I hope it gets better for you soon!

Allie; I really hope you start feeling better. I am so sorry that you have become the poster girl for complications. It really hits home about just how complicated this surgery is and that someone has to be serious about losing weight to have it. Try to keep your chin up. You have a lot of people praying and rooting you on towards recovery. Take care....

Aww Annie you're so sweet!! Well, they said that eventually it could stop folding in on itself. What's happening is that the staple line is just week in my pouch and is folding in on itself. It could stop doing it once the staple line gets stronger. They CAN fix it surgically but it means going in and cutting out the old staple line and reclosing it.......which means a smaller pouch. That was something I wasn't prepared to do because he couldn't guarantee that it would solve the problem. So hopefully it will resolve on it's own. Allie
