WoW Moment!!!
After checking out my blog with the pictures documenting my progress, my brother sent me this in an e-mail: "How does it feel to be the LIGHTEST kid in the family?"
Wow.
After I gained a lot of my weight in college, I've always been the fat sister. Both brothers, while not being skinny by any means, have always been smaller than me.
Wow. Hee hee.
Marcia
Hey Marcia, that is just SO cool! My brother weighs 250 and I was thrilled when I finally weighed less than him. Of course, he's about a foot taller than I, but it was still such a great feeling! Next I want to be smaller than my mom. We're both size 14 and I can't wait to get into those 12s! Congratulations on being the skinny sister now! Woo hoo!
Ahh yes. Sibling rivalry lives well into adulthood.
Last Christmas my brothers and sister and I made a bet as to who would lose the most weight by Christmas '08. My younger brother has done great. Losing 70 lbs. on his own. (and blowing out his knee trying to run a 5k). My l'il sis hasn't lost an ounce, but is in pre-op testing for WLS. Of course, they all accuse me of "cheating" by having surgery. But hey, when it comes to family, just win, Baby.
Congrats on your moment, and I anticipate many more for you.
