1 yr party - need a rough headcount....

Hi All - We are going to try to nail down a place to have our 1 year party, the 2008 Chi-town Skinnyfest. In order to get good group pricing, let's try to get at least a rough count of how many people plan to attend. Please reply with if you plan to attend and number in your party (just you, you + spouse, or whatever). You are not committing to anything right now. I am just trying to get ballpark estimates for bargaining. Also, we'll need to nail down a date. I believe that the past consensus was first weekend in May (May 3-4, 2008). Please confirm that this will work for everyone.

Chicago is all we know right now. We are getting a headcount to determine a venue.

Hi Jess. That weekend is OK with me. May I suggest any hotel near O'Hare? It will be easier for people flying in and the cost is less expensive than the downtown hotels.

That sounds fine Shar. Maybe you can look into places near Ohare and I can check out the places downtown and then we can compare notes?

I am definatly planning on coming. I won't know until closer to the time if my kids will be coming or not but personally I would rather leave them at their dads. They are so young it is not fun traveling with them. May works great for me and weather should be PERFECT

Jessica.......I don't post much to the April Forum but I read what is going on with you all......I had Lap Band so needless to say what I am going through is different from most April Forum RNY posters. I live in the Suburbs of Chicago I would love to attend the 2008 Chi-town Skinnyfest too!!! Gives me an incentive to get even more motivated to catch up to you big losers!!!!!! Marcy
