Sunday Weigh-in, 8/13/2007 edition.

Hey Everyone, Everyone still seems to be on track. Keep up the good work. Here are my stats. DOS: 4/17 244.5 Last Week: 167.5 This Week: 162 That is a loss of 5.5 pounds this week and 82.5 total. I hope this week is just as good. Jenn

Well, I was very surprised to see any loss this week since I'm having a visit from a girl's best friend. But 2lbs isn't bad at all. WOOHOO! I may see 230 before October after all. Day of Surgery 4/17: 317 Today : 246 Loss this week: 2 lbs Total loss since surgery: 71 lbs.

Hi everyone, I missed last week as it was a long weekend here in Canada and I went away for a family reunion/bbq. Everyone was shocked at the amount of weight I have taken off. We had a family portrait done of all the kids and grandkids (and one greatgrandkid cooking in the oven, ha ha) for our parents christmas present this year and it was so nice not being the only fat person in the picture for a change. Only problem is by christmas I probably won't look the same. I did loose 6 pounds from 2 weeks ago earlier this week, but have put back on 3 of those pounds ....oh well, have still lost 3 pounds net. Also had my blood work done last week, and all is good, although my cholesterol is high normal, but that is with out any meds and had been taking 2 different kinds before surgery and without meds I was extremely high. In Canada we measure our cholesterol results differently. I was 5.7 with surgery and no meds and used to 10.9 before the surgery and no meds. So that is definitely a step in the right direction. Also, got into a size 11 (WOW ) skort which of course I just had to buy. No more plus size clothes for me....that is the best feeling. Ok enough talk...here are my stats. Way to go A-team!!!! You are all doing soooo well!!! Makes me proud to be on the team!!! I'm in a stall right now but not worried about it. I have these stalls every now and then but I usually break thru them within a week. I'm 1 pound away from getting out of the 190's forever!!!! Woohoo!!! Yesterday my hubby was looking at my OH magazine and he told me he would be willing to pay for me to have a tummy tuck and a boob job... I was like OMG! Really? I was ready to just live with my sagging results because we just can't afford out-of-pocket cosmetic surgery. Funny thing is... I believe he said this out of selfish motives...hahaha... but that's ok with me!!! So, we'll see if maybe next year we can afford to give my body a complete make-over. Even if we aren't able financially... I just think it's sweet that he was willing to do this for me (or rather for him...lol). DOS: 247-lbs. Today's weight: 190-lbs. Goal weight: 140-lbs. Total loss so far.... 57-lbs. Only 50 more to go to reach goal!

Pre-surgery: 240 DOS: 232 Current: 168 I don't remember what I posted last week, but I'm down either one or two pounds. My current goal is 160, but my real goal is to get off the last BP medicine I'm taking, whatever that weight winds up being. Good work, DD. That's the real point of this whole process, but, heck, lookin' good - as we all are - is a nice side effect. Marcia
