Gained
As I posted in the Sunday Weigh-In I just recently got off of a three week stall that included a 2 lb. gain. The first week my weight went up a pound down a pound, during the second week my weight went up two pounds. I have finally lost that two pounds and 4 more. I have heard that this is normal after a rapid weight lose and to expect it several more times on our way down. The body needs time to adjust to the changes and is just hanging on to the fat; however you are still losing inches. I didn't see how that was possible, but yep it's true it worked for me. Take your measurments and try on your tightest pants and watch them get looser during this time.
Try to relax. Now, take a deep breath. It's going to happen again. I know, I know, but don't freak out. I've done this several times, and usually it is the start of one of my plateau periods, where I will gain and lose the same two pounds for 10-14 days. Then suddenly - POOF! - I will lose 4 pounds in two days and then be back on track.
It's very weird, but after you go through it the first time, you aren't as bad the second. Don't get me wrong, you might still question if you will ever lose another pound, EVER, but you will. I swear!
Take care,
Shana
I wouldnt worry too much. It seems like it has happened to many of us. I know with me, I always weigh more at night then in the morning.
And it will also depend on your BM's if you've gone recently.
From what I can tell with my weight loss, I have weeks that I lose a lot and then weeks that I maintain. There have been a few times that I gainned but within a few days its back down.
Dont fret, I'm sure your doing great.

Since your exercising faithfully.. I'm sure that 2 lbs is muscle. Remember to measure too. I havn't lost any weight in almost 4 weeks now and today it seems I'm up 3 lbs!! But I'm also being very active and the inches are falling off of me. In 4 weeks I've lost nearly 8 inches.. even though the weight isn't coming off as I wi**** would.
I hope that helps. Keep up the good work! The scale isn't the bottom line here it seems. It's if we are getting our protein and water and vitamins in that seem to be the measure of our sucess.
