ONLY 54LBS
First of all, you look too good and have eyes that are waaaaayy to gorgeous to solicit any sympathy from ME! You are gorgeous to begin w/ and every pound has got to just make you feel that much better.
Second, I had surgery on the 25th and have lost 46 pounds. Even if I only followed every single rule of post-op, I wouldn't be able to lose another 8 lbs in the three-week difference to be in the same place you are at the same time. I'm saying this so you understand that it is really different for everyone and, although I may be the slowest loser, I am so psyched that it is totally going in the right direction. I'll get there, as you will, like everyone else.
That said, I do know how you are feeling, and certainly don't want to discount your feelings, but I do hope you realize that, not only are you doing what is right for you personally, but that you can find a lot of support from everyone around you on this board and they will cheer you every step of the way!
Take care,
Shana
Oh, please don't be upset about your success. Losing 54 pounds is amazing and in only a few months!! When was the last time you were ever able to lose 54 pounds?...and lose it in such a short amount of time?? I had my surgery on April 30th and weighed 249 pounds on the morning of surgery. So far I have lost 64 pounds. You also have to keep in mind how much weight you needed to lose to begin with. Someone with 200 pounds to lose is going to drop the weight much faster than someone with only 100 pounds to lose. Also, some people who have lost 100+ pounds so far may be including the weight they lost preop for their medically supervised diet. don't be so hard on yourself, you are doing great! It may help you gain a better perspective if you check out the lightweights forum as well.
