Wow moment...sort of
I had a "Wow" moment yesterday...sort of...
We've been cleaning out and organizing the basement this week. I'm applying my motto "Less is More" to everything, so lots of stuff was boxed up and given to local churches, the vets office and to the dumpsters. Afterwards, I mopped the basement then decided to mop the 1st floor...Living room, bathroom, hallway, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and family room. 3/4's the way thru, I realized I was STILL mopping and had not taken a break!!! Before surgery, it killed my back when I mopped and I had to stop in every room to take a break! I was so pschyed that I finished the 1st floor and moved up to the 2nd floor...3 bedrooms, a hallway and 2 more bathrooms. It felt so good to get it all day within a few hours vs a few days!!!! I was going so strong, that I actually broke the mop...poor thing wasn't used to working so hard at one time...
Wow Tammy, that is just so cool! I can totally relate. Cleaning house was such a killer for me before. Just switching the slipcover on the couch had me gasping for breath and sweating. I would even have to take a break halfway through that little chore! For vacuuming I would try to sit in a chair and vacuum small bits at a time. I had to have a chair in the kitchen because I couldn't stand on my feet long enough to cook a meal. Now I can clean the entire house at once (my house is small) and not break a sweat. It's incredible! I wonder if all of us A-Teamers have cleaner houses now? I know I do!
