Examples of some of my meals are: 1/3 cup of cooked turkey sausge, gr pepper, 1/4 cup egg beaters, and little bit of fat free cheese..yummy 1/2cup or 4 oz of meat with some kind of veggies. 2/3 cup of chili with sour cream or cheese and 4-6 saltine crackers Like someone else said it all depends on what it is.

I'm still focusing on the protein and not the "easier to eat" carbs, so all I can get in is about 4-5oz max. Typically some meat, beans and cheese fill me up full. Still can't tolerate chicken, and if I even think about getting a "quick bite", I get stopped up and get the "foamies".

I can eat 4/5 of a lean cuisine; 1/2 cup white rice w/ 6 oz fish; 2 eggs, 1/2 piece of toast Those are some examples. Like DD, I hope I am never able to eat more than this, but I am also scared sometimes by how much I can gte down.

I swear my surgeon made my pouch EXTRA small becasue I can only eat about 3 ounces at a time if I'm lucky. If I eat protien that is dense like steak I can only eat about an ounce. It also sounds like my pouch is much more cranky than every one else's, I am still eating a lot more protien than carbs and the only fruit I can eat is cantalope. The staples of my diet are cottage cheese, yogurt, fish, tofu and a venti non-fat, decaf, sf caramel latte from starbucks. I hope that one day I can eat 4 to 6 ounces of food lol! Morgan

mine is closer to yours. 2 oz meat at very most but I can eat a lot of fruit. Nectarines, peaches, strawberries, cantaloupe and sometimes apples. Plums and grapes are definitely no and sometimes I can eat bananas and sometimes not.

I can eat about a dessert plate's worth, not heaping, maybe 3oz? I'm pretty good at stopping before it hurts by now. I eat way less than my 9yo even on a good day. Anything too fatty (like cheese or sausage) gives me nausea, and that tends to make me stop eating faster. Surgeon today suggested I am losing quite fast (60lbs in 4.5 months if I count the pre-op diet) he'd rather I slow down a bit. Going on a cruise tomorrow, not planning on being super careful there, we shall see how I do.

I honestly don't know if it's good or bad. Every surgeon and Nut is different. If it works for you, then I guess it's OK. Shar
