4 month annivsary
Well, I can't believe it has been 4 months when this all began. It has not been a easy road health wise, but I am glad I did this. So far I have been able to handle everything I eat, but I follow my NUT's plan. Once I ate a Wendy's chili and thought I was going to die, but thanks to this group I now make my own Turkey Chili that I love. I do need to learn foods hign in potassium cause mine keeps dropping very low and have to get IV's or drink the nasty stuff when I am in and out of hospital.
As of this morning I have lost 95 lbs since my pre-op weight. I was hoping to be below 300 lbs, but wow I will take it.
Hope everyone has a great day. I am off for my CT-scan to check for blood clots. As some of you know they tried to kill me a few weeks back trying to remove my greenfield filter and cause more damage. Fun...Fun!!! I am done with hospitals for awhile.
Take Care and it is great to see how well everyone is doing.

Hi Danielle, you look wonderful! I love the new 'do-you look so vibrant now! That's too bad about the potassium issue. Here's a great website that lets you search each food by nutrient. I did a "potassium" search and here's what I got: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient&dbid=90
Best of luck and congratulations on your amazing success!
