*** UPDATE *** ALLIE ***

Please pray for Allie... She is BACK in the hospital. She is on IV's, and WILL BE getting a PIC line. Her G-tube had to come out, due to an infection, and she cant eat without being in EXTREME pain. Tommorrow her Dr is coming back, and they are going to discuss what tests to do next, to get a PERMANENT solution to this problem. She has been thru 3 surgeries now since her RNY in April(the RNY, gall bladder & G-Tube). The Dr was trying to talk to her about another surgery..... her body is VERY tired. I talk to her frequently & will be seeing her in hospital, on 7/30 , today. Feel free to post, and I will print this out and give it to her. She REALLY needs encouragement. Ohhh..Tell Allie that I will be thinking about her and that she is in my thoughts. I hope that they can fix this so she can get feeling better. She is such a strong person and she is loved by the A-team

We're sending nothing but positive thoughts for Allie so that she gets better and can get back here and join us! Allie - get well SOON!!!

I will definatly be praying for her even more now. I really hope they are able to find a resolution to this problem. Has a second opinion from another RNY surgeon been considered to possibly work together to solve these issues? Just a thought since alot of complications can be new to our surgeons sometimes 2 heads work better than one.

I am lighting a candle for our dear Allie all this week and focusing on her well-being. I wish that I could do more for her. I pray they find out what is going on and take care of this. Inky

Tanya, thank you for giving us this update. Oh poor Allie! My heart goes out to you hun and you will be in my thoughts & prayers this week. I pray they find a permanent solution that will finally get you on the road to recovery. This has been such a difficult ordeal for you and I'm sure you feel like giving up... but hang in there hun, I just know things are gonna get better. Tanya - Thanks for keeping us updated. Allie, You are in my prayers! I will prayer for your Husband and Children as they must be so worried about you and miss you while your in the hospital. I am so sorry you are suffering with this WLS it was supposed to be a wonderful weight lose journey for you. I appreciate your sharing your story on the main boards as everyone needs to go into this surgery with open eyes.
