3 month check up with Exercise Physiologist....

OK, met with the exercise guy today. Since surgery I've gone from 44% body fat to 31% body fat, I've lost 50# of fat and 40# of muscle (he wants me in the gym to counteract the muscle loss), and I've lost over 10" from my hips and waist and over 6" from my chest and arms! I took a bike test and he said I'm now 3% more fit than the average person of my age! All good news I guess...........

Wow! Now that's a test I wish my Doctor's offered. Interesting results. Is the muscle to fat loss ratio, typical? I know my major muscle groups are much smaller since "my prime". Chest, thighs, and arms are all smaller than I recall. Great weight loss, Jeff. Keep it rollin'. DD

Wow! you rock! I have been using the eliptical and treadmils, and that seems to be going ok. I would love to lift weights, but I feel like a dummy trying it in front of all of those macho muscle guys. ARe there any particular weight excersices that you would recommend?
