Update on Hair loss

I am getting ready to shave my head.....I am doing it the day before my birthday...SO Aug. 6th think of me....My hair is coming out in clumps and you can see right down to my scalp...so I am taking control of this..and I am losing it my way....I just did not want to shock anyone if they see my pictures afterwards.....Ohh yeah and I am getting a wig from my parents for my birthday...WOOHOOOOo

Wow. Good for you for taking control. I definitely know how you feel. I found some significant receeding this week and I am cutting mine very short next weekend. Not thrilled about it, but I am less thrilled about my receeding hairline. Best of luck!!

You go Crystal - take charge! I should post a picture of me in all my bald punk rock glory circa 1984, lol. Can't wait to see the wig, you may find you love having "different" hair to chose from and no more shampoo/conditioner/coloring hassles for a while. I'm cutting mine short on Wednesday, after Jessica motivated me and finding way to many long hairs all over the house, my clothes, the car. I'm shedding ON my cat for a change! Inky

You're brave! I keep thinking of you when I'm pulling the loose hairs off my clothes, care, etc. Thinking I might do the same thing, but know my head isn't very lovely... have a big roll and wrinkle across the back and some moles I can feel in there. But I might do it too cause it's getting sooo thinned out. My X shaved his head once and his hair went from being straight to being really curley. =0) His family accused him of getting a perm. It was pretty funny - he was such a macho man. haha... How long does this last? I've been watching my protein to make sure I get enough... my legs are hairier then ever... shaving daily and still stubble, you'd think that it would show up on my head, too?? humph.
