It's been awhile!
Hey Everyone,
It's been awhile since I have posted. I have been on vacation at the beach. It was so wonderful. Today is my 3 month anniversary. I cant believe it has been 3 months already. I have lost a total of 68.5 pounds since surgery on 4/17. I have dropped from a tight size 24 to a 14. My 3 month check up last week went awsome. All my labs came back great. My doc said everything was going great and what a wonderful loss. I'm hoping to be at goal by my next visit with him. That will be in OCT. My goal is 130. If I happen to go a little below that, it will be fine with me but If I just get to that number I will be siked. I wonder when our bodies will start catching up with us? Will my losses slow down? Is 46 more pounds before OCT unrealistic? Everything is starting to sag big time. Maybe I'll get my plastics done around Christmas. I know I'm jumping the gun just needed to talk.

Definitely not to early to plan plastics. I remember telling my mom "this year - bypass, next year - BOOBS!" right after i got my surgery date. It's just another goal along the way and you should seriously start looking into surgeons and interviewing them to see how many post-op patients they've done.
Lisa Mende and I had a chance to see some before and after pics from Dr. Katzen at the Vegas event recently, and it really does matter. He showed us some "before" pics of people who already had skin removal and didn't look that great. Some of them weren't "even" from side to side, and I don't just mean boobs. I mean hips and arms and just all sorts of weirdness.
They do say that your weight should be stable for 3-6 months before you do it though, so December might be a little too soon, but like I said, never too soon to go and pick the right surgeon. Good luck and keep me posted. I don't think I'll be ready until next April or May, but I'll live vicariously through you and root you on every step of the way!

yaaayyy!! congratulations on your success!!! I was doing really great at first, but all of a sudden slowed and plateud for 3 weeks before my 3 mo checkup. Dr said increase the water and make sure am getting enough protein. Hoping my Oct visit will be much better. Everyone is passing my up now =0) Am so happy with this journey anyhow. You're doing great! Is good to see. Love it!!
