Goals for the Holidays?
I find the only way I make consistent progress is to set goals and hold myself accountable.
Has anyone given any thought as to where they want to be on their journey come Thanksgiving? Myself? I'd like to be under 250 lbs. Wearing pants with a 40 waist or less, and lifting weights at levels I was at 10 years ago.
Anyone else with some goals they'd care to share?
DD
I would really like to be at 100 lbs loss by my wedding anniversary, Oct 31, putting me at 222 hopefully.
I haven't thought about thanksgiving and last year was the first year I celebrated xmas in over 15 years (long story) so I hadn't give that any thought yet either, lol.
I did find out today that Marie Callender's sells "no sugar added" pumpkin pie as as seasonal item, but could not find nutritional info on it. It makes me want to find a sugar free recipe for punkin' cheesecake, yum yum.
I have a list of other goals on my profile (scroll down to the bottom) if anyone's interested.

Inky,
I have a pumkin cheesecake recipe that I made for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago when I was doing the "low carb" thing. I don't have it with me right now because I am getting ready to start work, but when I get home I can forward it to you. It was pretty good.
As far as my goal, I want to be able to go Christmas shopping and enjoy it instead of thinking how tired I would get or my knees would start to hurt.
I haven't thought that far ahead honestly Thanksgiving is going to be a difficult holiday for me this year so I have tried to avoid it. Since I am currently 193 I guess I would like to loose 20lbs between now and then and see 173lb by the end of November. I have 185 as my end of August goal so if I get to that I will be well on my way to 173 by November.
