HELP FOR A LAP BANDER PLEASE

I got a fill in Mexico in my band! It has been since saturday and unless I am eating broth, I slime and pb. I needed some calories so I tried ice cream and slimed and PB'd Again. I can drink very slowly but I cannot even eat mushies without it getting stuck! I was told that I should give it a week to see if it gets better. What do you guys think? I am a little scared,,,I can swallow and don't have acid reflux but I feel like I cannot even fit anything down my tube! I have a SAGB and they went from 3.9cc to 6c****ep hearing that it is best to wait and see and just drink broth but I am getting really hungry,,,,i do take protein shakes but they sometimes get a little stuck too! I am sorry that you are having these problems. I would suggest that you post this on the lap band board so that you might get some faster results. I can not help as I had RNY. Best of luck!

u had a different lap band than me .. older type u had as I understand.. after a fill u can vomit but it should pass.. but I wonder if u got something stuck in your stoma or that the band is to tight.. I was old u really don't have much swelling from a fill.. but some do .. I was told that people who had it installed in mexico were not covered by insurence in usa if they have complications so my suggestion is go back to mexico who did the fill and see if they can losen it before it becomes a possible medical emergency and u r held liable for the cost in usa for having out of the country ... Docs r held ethetically to treat u in usa if u have medical emergency with the lap band but does not mean your insurence will pick up the tab.. most will not.. food for thought. I would not wait is what i am saying .. I assume u went to mexico to get it because u didn't have insurence that would cover the lap band and to be honest I would not blame u .. infact I was looking to go to mexico but I did my research and thank god my insurence gave me a yes .. but plesse do something.. I had my fill on thursday and I was vomiting friday nite but by sunday I was better now I can eat foods again .. and drink fine oh yeah some people after having a lap band filled are starving for some odd reason and I am that way.. really werid .. but I felt like I had not eaten in 30 days .. it lasted tell I got ill .. and then i went to no hungar.. sad thing I feel hunger again but I am full I hope this will pass for me ..
