guess what I did..
I broke my foot. Granted its a tiny break but its a break. I've got a moon boot and crutches. I feel so stupid. Here I am with this great tool, and now I've messed up and wont be able to excersise like I should. I havent been doing the best with the tool either. Some days I dont eat, other days I eat what I shoud, and some days what I shouldnt. The doctor said that it broke so easily because I havent been taking my calcium or other vitamins like I should.
I've lost about 45 pounds so far. Do you think its to late to jump back on the bandwagon? I started seeing a food addiction therapist to see if I cant curve some of my impulsiveness. So I'm still trying to use the tool I'm just getting tired of eating chicken and drinking crystal lite. Recently I've been eating fresh fruit for my meals. Today is my first day with trying to drink the protein shakes again.
Thanks for reading

Amanda,
First I am so sorry for your broken foot.
Now for the questions YES you can still get back on the "bandwagon"!!! We all have it in us to not eat the right things, that is one of the reasons that most of are in our place! I have also put the fresh fruit in to my diet but I always make sure to also eat some type of protein with it! I am seeing a Nutrishionest (sp) once a week (she is like my food addiction therapist) and she is keeping me on track with what is best for me to eat and how much exersise so I don't burn to many of my Calories for the day. The BIG thing for you is you have to take you vitamins!!!!!!!!! I hope all heals quick for you and you are able to adjust to your moon boot! My Personal Trainer has a man that has a boot on his foot and the only thing at the jym he can do for cardio is ride the bike so take it easy! Look forward to hearing all is going better for you!

Amanda, that sucks! I'm so sorry about your foot! The good news is, even if you aren't exercising, you will still lose weight because you're eating so much less than before. At least you now see how important it is to take your calcium and vitamins. Besides broken bones, your teeth could also crumble if you don't keep up with the calcium, so hopefully you won't forget to take it any more. Good for you for seeing a therapist-that should help a lot! Remember to be kind to yourself and not beat yourself up so much-it takes a long time to reverse a lifetime of bad habits, and all we can do is try our best. Take care and best of luck with healing that foot!
