Well I weighed in at 301 lbs. this morning. A pound short of my goal of 300 by the 4th of July. Am I disappointed? A little. But, if I take a minute to think about it, I've come a long way already on this journey and I won't allow myself to get hung up on the numbers. Happy Independance Day, Everyone. I'm going for a bike ride. DD

Wow Cindy, that was a stroll down memory lane. Back when I set this goal (March) I was 370 lbs. Losing 69 lbs. in 4 months isn't half bad. I've certainly never lost like that before. Thanks for the "stroll". DD

David, you may not have met your personal goal, but you are still a big winner Who would have thought this time last year, you would be 69 lbs lighter? Everyone is a winner in my eyes for even having the surgery. Everyone says it is the easy way out? Well, I beg to differ. We still have to watch what we eat. We still have to exercise. The only thing is when we cheat, we have to pay for it with our dumping. So, nothing about this is easy, but the outcome is sooooooooooooo worth it. Keep it up and we wont recognize you Cindy

My weight can fluctuate through out the day by more than a pound sometimes. So I would say that you did make goal. Congrats to you!!

Congrats DD, I think that's fantastic, even though you didn't make the goal - and ending your post with...I'm going for a bike ride....did you ever really believe you would say things like that? Shr-inky
