hows is everyone's execise going?

Ok I am being the execise police here .. LOL anyone working their booty like me??????? I got up to 50 mins of cardio.. and swam for 45 mins .. today ... yeah ,, I figure only way the lbs r comming off is exercise my butt off... and i may do another casrdio work out tonight scale has not budged in days .. but I am dropping clothes sizes.. How is everyone doing and what r they doing???? I am doing cardio 6 days a week ..I know getting weight off me is gonna be hard way but ai do see chages even it it is not oon scale I keep telling my self this alot I will beleive that crap I am writing LOL be well Lisa I am gonna be the gym rat soon LOL I do get inspired by others there that have lost alot of weight so I got there to heaqr how they did it makes me want to keep going.. and not give up hugs all Lisa

I am not exercising. I know shame on me! My dr didn't tell me to except walk. He said when I come for my check up I will be allowed to do all exercise. I am taking advantage of it. I am swimming with the kids and walking. I go on the 12th and then I will be moving like crazy!!!

I am around 1 and you know I will be there a while maybe you can stop by there and we can meet while I wait for my turn. Or maybe you can move up your appointment and we can be there together? Just a thought I always drive home after because it is about 5-6 hour drive.

I haven't been doing any "real" excercise. Nothing organized. I just try to stay moving. I've taken a huge bite out of my "honey-do" list. I've been riding bike with my kids, and I try to park as far away as possible from where I'm going, so I have to walk. I also avoid elevators and use the stairs. And I've also walked everytime I've played golf this summer. After my kids go back to school in the fall I plan on going back to the gym and pumping iron. ( I'll be B-a-a-a-ck, as the Govenator would say). DD

I do swim Class twice a week and walk 3 nights aweek normally but I have come down with strep throat and feel a little like death warmed over. I haven't done much for about 3 days but then I haven't eaten much in 3 days either. I am drinking my water but that's about it I can't swallow anything else.

I am working out 3 times a week with a personal trainer and doing cardio 5 times a week in 30 min blocks! My Dr accused me of doing transfer addiction to execise. I told him that would be the best addiction I ever had!

I HAVE transferred my addiction from food to exercise. But like you said it's a good thing.I work out with a personal trainer 2 times a week (about 1.25 hours of interval training, some cardio and some core) and go to aerobics 2 times a week (again about an hour). Last week I went to boot camp on Wed and it was TOUGH!! I think I will go again this Wed. I try to ride my bike to town to do errands. I have been doing this since I was 2 weeks post op. Which is why I am down 70 pounds.....so people, start exercising. It works. And we must take advantage of our honeymoon period. Good luck everyone. Jody

I'm so glad you asked because I am doing nothing. zip. zilch. Well, that's not entirely true. I managed to workout for 1/2 hour on my elliptical this weekend and about an hour in the pool also, but I haven't been consistent or particularly motivated. I didn't lose for an entire week, and it's no secret as to why. Thanks for asking though. Maybe having someone to report to will help me get up and work out a few times this week. We're going to try to meet up when you come to Vegas on the 7th, right? Let me know when you and your hubby are coming in. Maybe we can hang out over some protein!

Oh, the dreaded question...about exercise! I am not doing too well in that area yet. Plan to...just haven't had the energy or time. I have gone to a personal trainer twice...she kicked my butt and I hurt for 3 weeks after each meeting (and no, it wasn't even hard stuff or long...just your basics...I am that out of shape I guess.) I have gotten on my eliptical at home 2 or 3 times but cannot seem to get motivated to do it daily or even regularly. Working and taking care of the kids just poops me out. BUT! I am doing LOTS more with the kids and my activities of daily living have increased alot. So, at least it is a start! Dianne
