What do you pay for personal trainer?
HI!
My family belongs to the local YMCA for 77/month...haven't used it alot yet except to goto the pool with the family (hey, I got into a bathing suit for the first time in over a year, so that was an accomplishment!) They have trainers, haven't used them. YET.
I also paid for a membership for a weight loss program where I can see a nutritionist/personal trainer or nurse or doc up to 17 sessions for $545 (I think this is the price)...I have used this primarily to goto the trainer 2x since surgery since it is over an hour from my home...but was associated with the weight loss surgery center where I had my surgery. I joined this as part of my 6 month preop weight loss attempts...I now go to get her to kick my butt once a month to keep on track...she will probably want to see me more since I am not doing to well exercising on my own yet.
Oh well,
Dianne
Before my WLS journey, I hired a personal trainer. I first had to pay to belong to Women's World Gym ($39 a month) and then I paid her $300 per month for three times per week. With the exercise and diet regimin, I lost 40 pounds...when I cancelled the trainer because of traveling and the holidays...I gained it all back and then some. I still belong to the gym and I will go back and use their equipment and take classes, but I don't think I will hire a trainer again, although, she did teach me some great fundamentals that I can use over and over.
