Two Month Pics
Alright, it was time for new pics, and they are up on my profile. The pink shirt and size 28 jeans are safely stored in my closet, along with one pair 28 underwear and one bra, to always remind me of where I was. The newer (actually they were old tight Dickies jeans I haven't worn in five years!) and tank top are snugger and a more accurate representation of my size.
Month one loss - 28 lbs
Month two loss - 10.5 lbs
Total loss 51.5 lbs (13 pre-surgery).
RNY Surgery - PRICELESS!!
Hugs to all,
Shr-inky
Nice pics Inky! Lovin' the tats as well! Do you ever regret getting the ones on your arms? I have a couple on each shoulder, and finding clothes to cover them can be challenging. I am however ready for another one. Maybe something with my sons' names or something. Alas, it is my destiny.... The Tatoo gods have been silent for too long!
Hi Dawn,
Thank you!!
No, I never regret anything, life is too short for regrets. I got my first tattoo in 1980, and it was all or nothing since then. They all tell a story and that story is my skin, big or fat, smooth or wrinkly, tattooed and eventually saggy I decided on the tank top for future photos to see how the ink changes too. Most of them have survived pretty well over time and gaining 180 pounds.
When I had a job where people might be put off by them, I kept them from the elbow up, and none on my legs, but when I took an early retirement from the bank after 17 years (yes, i was a bank manager, lol), i said screw the corporate world and never looked back. Tossed the panty hose and biz suits and I've never had a corporate job since then. It's like I'm living my 20's in my 40's, lol.
I just got the panther on my left forearm to commemorate my 50 pound loss. And my "at goal" tattoo is going to be a crazy whacked out scale with springs flying and my "goal" weight as the numbers. or something like that anyway.
If I were a parent I would definitely tattoo my kid's names
Inky
Yup! You're shrinkin'. Love to see "the proof" in the pictures. Thanks for being the inspiration you are to all us "A-teamers".
I'm waiting until 3 months to post my next pic's. I'm thinking the change will be more dramatic after 90 days. (Although I'm sure I still won't be "Thong-ready" )
Keep on truckin', Shrinkster.
