my update
First let me congradulate all of you on your successes. I dont weigh or measure weekly so I dont chime in on the Sunday Weigh In's. You guys amaze me. However I did have my checkup last Wenesday and I am down 34 pounds. I was very bummed about this I thought that I should have lost more but the doc said I'm normal. I'm doing fine. I told him how I've cheated by eating carbs and even a couple bites of fast food here and there. He said that feeling guilty is a good thing, and that I need to break my addiction to food now (duh!). he said I should increase my excersise to five times a week which I am happy to say I am starting to do tonight.
SO I've lost 34 pounds. I have to figure out how to break this addiction becuase my pouch is very friendly and welcomes bites of horrible food. I am seeking a addiction therapist to figure out why I self sabotage. Is anyone else doing this? I am going to make my appointment tomorrow. I dont post often, but i read everyday!
Congrats again everyone!

If you are looking for some help with eating I have heard great things about Overeaters Annonomous. I have a good friend who had lap band surgery in Sept and has been attending meatings since. She said it is a great source of support and they have helped her with her food battles.
I can totally relate to eating a few things your not supposed to but my tummy most definatly rejects those things. I hope you are able to get more assistance and support to help with your battle we all have them. :hug
Don't be too hard on yourself amanda, 34lbs. weight loss is great!!! Like I always say, slow & steady win the race and leave you with less saggy skin too!
I know what you mean about the bad foods seem to go down so easy. It's frustrating when I'd like to eat a nice healthy meal and my pouch doesn't agree with it. In order to keep from starving I usually resort to a few carbs just so I can eat something. And of course my pouch is very agreeable with these bad choices. UGH! I have cut back on doing that but I did go through a period of indulging for a few days.
I'm back on track and trying to get my pouch to agree to healthier choices. It seems to be tolerating them better.
Hang in there it will get better!
Hugs,
Lisa
