Usual Suspects - What do you eat most?
Thought it might be interesting to get an idea of what your most common meals have been.
Mine have been (all 4oz)
Taco Meat (90/10) and RF Beans with a dab of Sour Cream and Cheese
Chipotle Burrito Bowl (1/4) with Pintos, Pork, Hot Salsa, a dab of SC and cheese
Coconut Encrusted Tilapia
Hummus
Meatloaf (home made)
Noodle-less Lasagne (ricotta, marinara and mozzerella)
Egg salad
Snacks -
Dry roasted Edamame Beans (wasabi flavored)
Frigo low fat string cheese
Spoonful of peanut butter (for protein)
Yogurt
That's about it. I seem to do the top two meals more frequently than anything because my wife makes it on Thursdays and I usually still have some left over by Monday or Tuesday as I can only eat 4oz at a time.
I'm looking forward to everyone's ideas as I'd like to expand my horizons a bit!
HI Jeff,
I'm all about the following:
cottage cheese for breakfast
1/2 a garden burger or chick-n-grill (both vegetarian) patty
Anna's Black Bean soup
ground turkey taco meat with 1/2 an avocado
the very same noodle-less lasagna (except i also add Romano cheese and sometimes about 4-6 slices zucchini or broccoli)
egg salad
refried beans with a sprinkle of cheese
SF Jello Pudding (double chocolate flavor)
Flav-O-Ice SF pops (like otter pops!)
Kashi protein bars
Atkins advantage Choco chip bar
String cheese
those low fat swiss Laughing Cow wedges (very smooth and rich, nice 1 oz portion)
soynut butter
miso soup
yellow tail sashimi with wasabi and pickled ginger
french onion soup (a new find)
shrimp (usually grilled or sauteed in pam with garlic
smart bacon (tofu bacon)
fried egg in pam
hummus
I'm not much into cooking, but probably will do more as baby tummy settles in and I am not so afraid to mix foods. For now I try to stick to one thing a meal, with a steamed veggie on the side.

It's interesting to write this down-I'm eating a wider variety than I realized!
I have less that I am tolerating so far (doc suspects my outlet is very very tight.)
AM: Protein Shake (yep, everyday or I don't get in enough protein)
Snacks or meal:
1 oz cheese
1/4 c rigotta
4 oz yogurt
cruncho's soy snacks (I like the sour cream and onion the best)
refried lowfat beans w/ cheese 1/4c
soy (meatless) chicken and beans 1/4 c w/ cheese sprinked on top
hot chocolate mix (smart forme) - usually PM drink/snack
Used to have soup every day but not so much since it is now hot out
just started being able to tolerate:
taco beef 1/4 c w/ cheese and sour cream
chicken breast 1 oz (had yesterday...sat in pouch forever!)
egg salad 1 oz (had today...sat in pouch about 3 hrs before I felt ok)
brocolli w/ cheese (1 or 2 well cooked tops w/ cheese melted on it)
I can't wait till I like and tolerate more. I have got to try the hummus! That would definately be a great change of pace for me.
