Female question??

I had my surgery the saem day as you AND I have been on my monthly now for 10 days. ICK!! I had Mirena inserted though on the 4th and I thought that was what was causing this.... Now....???? Interesting. I think I'll give my GYN a call tomorrow.

I hope yours fixes soon...mine too. I did talk to my Dr. see my post above, so I guess it's not uncommon. lol jen

MIne have been going over 10 days long. Well my first one was a few days out of surgery and it was 10 days long. Attributed it to the blood thinners I was shooting myself with. Then my last period was 12 days long. I think it has to do with the estrogen that's stored in our fat being released. I hope our cycles calm down or we're gonna be mad women!! LOL Allie

well 2 weeks would be a very short period for me. I've had mine for over 3 months before, so I don't know what to tell you, and they're always very very heavy (sorry if that's tmi). I've almost passed out from all the blood loss, and have had to call off work several times. my last one lasted about 2 weeks, but I'm spotting right now so it'll probably be back. I've been this way forever, but the only thing the doctors ever tell me is to lose weight and it'll stop doing that. if it doesn't, some s@#* is gonna hit the fan, I've been this way since I was 13.

That sucks, have your seen a Endocrinologist? Sounds like you may have PCOS. Hope you feel better soon. lol jen
