I'm so tired of puking!

OK so I was in the hospital last week and got out Tuesday. They fixed a stricture and found 2 ulcers so I would THINK that I would be on the mend now. I've puked 3 times since then........the getting stuck thing. I KNOW I'm not eating too much. I'm calling my surgeon in the morning but does it sound like to ya'll that the stricture is back? Lordy me if they stick another tube down my throat......ya'll can start calling me Roto Rooter!! Allie

Did you eat solid foods right away? I would imagine that your body is still a bit tender from the doc fixing the stricture. Maybe you should try going on a liquid diet for a few days while it heals..

Hi Allie, rarely is a stricture fixed in one visit. I had to go back 4 times before mine finally stayed open. Good luck, Lisa

How do you know that you have a stricture? How was it feeling when you ate / drank? Sometimes things don't go down so well - take a long time settling into my pouch etc... how does everyone know that there is a signal to call the doc?
