Pizza....
I tried a bagel bite. Okay I actually had two bagel bites. They felt alittle heavy going down, but didn't make me dump.
Last month we ordered pizza and I tried just eating the pizza toppings but was like what the hell is the point. I wanted the whole piece. So I just gave up and ate some soy beans. My menu is so boring.
I have eaten pizza several times. I have only tried thin crust cheese. I can eat a piece that is about 3.5"x3.5" (we cut it square here in Chicago). I start by taking a paper towel and blotting all the oil off of the top that I can and then I cut it into tiny bite size pieces so I don't eat too fast. I have never been sick from pizza.
Actually, one I really like is Earth's Best (available at Whole Foods). They have a personal sized frozen pizza for kids (it has Elmo on the box). But its really good and it has a whole grain crust so it has a lot of fiber and protein. I could only eat about half though. But 2 come in each box, so that's 4 meals.
Enjoy
Whoa, be careful folks. We're still limited to 4oz for the most part, and we're at risk of stretching out that pouch we went through so much to have!
According to my dietary database (calorieking.com):
Pizza Hut 12" traditional crust, (cheese only) 3.5oz per slice
Pizza Hut 12" thin n crispy (cheese only) 2.8oz per slice
Pizza Hut 12" Pan (cheese only) 3.7oz per slice
Domino's hand tossed chese only - 3.1oz per slice
Domino's thin crust cheese only - 1.9oz per slice
Domino's Deep Dish cheese only - 3.3oz per slice
Also, most of these are only 7-10g of protein per slice, with boatloads of fat and cholesterol.
Don't get me wrong, it's up to each of us to make smart choices, just be careful not to "bypass the bypass" when you're out to eat!
HI,
I have had pizza. I can eat 1/2 of a lean cuisine pizza which is only about 150 cal. My husband and I went to Pizza hut and I ordered a small Personal Pan pizza. I could only finish 1 piece and took the rest home. Try the low carb pizza recipe on the recipe forum. It is great and healthy. We should all realize that having pizza and other bad things is probably the reason we are in the situation we are in right now. My advice is just dont have to much of a good thing. To much of anything is bad for us.
