Over the counter meds!

Does anyone have a list of over the counter meds that an RNY patient can take. I am going on vacation to the beach in July and I dont want to be stuck without any clue. I havent taken any meds since my RNY surgery so this really isnt my cup of tea. For example has anyone taken pepto bismo or tylenol? I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff. Thanks in advance, Jenn P.S I will also post on the PA board.

I was told by my surgeon that Tylenol was ok, I just cut them half. But they also have the Tylenol On The Go (I think that is the name of it) that is chewable. I have taken the regular Tylenol and have had no problems with it. Have a great vacation!

watch the pepto, it has aspirin in it. I know we're not supposed to take that because of ulcers, so I don't know if it's really safe for us now. try like imodium or kaopectate, but read the ingredients cuz I don't know what's in those
