A Week of WOW Moments!

I have had a week of WOW Moments. Over the weekend, I ran for the first time. I ran 1/2 mile without stopping. It was so awesome to feel that way because I haven't done that since grade school. Today, my best friend stopped by. With our busy schedules we hadn't seen each other since my surgery. She just couldn't get over how different I looked. I still don't see it, but I see myself every day. It was nice to get the opinion of someone that hasn't seen me, but is close enough to me to tell me their honest opinion. Today, I also played soccer with my daughter for the first time! She is 4 and was so excited to have Mommy playing soccer with her. It felt great to be out there and see the smile on my daughter's face. This is important to both of us because when I had my first fill I was really sick because there was too much. She saw what I was going through and told my husband that she was so worried about me because she was afraid that I was going to die. I sat her down and explained to her that this is the hard part. Mommy knew that I would be sick for a little while, but that I was doing it so that I would be able to play in the yard with her and do more things that she has always asked me to do that I couldn't do before. She asks me every day, "Mommy, is this still the hard part?" I had a really good day today and felt like I could do this with her. The joy she expressed almost made me cry. I can't wait to see what else I can do with her that I wasn't able to do before without feeling worn out or out of breath. ~Tiffany~

You are doing so great!! Congratulations. I still haven't tried running yet, although I really want to. Your daughter must be so happy to have her Mom to play with. Glad to hear that everything is looking up after your first fill. Keep it up!
