Hello Everyone Would you look at me I'm a posting fool today?! Anyway I went to the YMCA and completed my excersise. I did a 20 minute mile on the treadmill and then 4.5 miles in ten minutes on the bike? I excersised the 30 minutes. Is this about where everyone else is? I swear when I walked in the door my boobs finally stick out more then my belly. YAY ME! Cant wait to hear from you

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will start the gym in June. I need more motivation. It's like I talk about going and then when it is actually time -- I want to do anything but..... I know this weight loss will go so much faster for me when I exercise. Congrats and keep up the good work! M.Y.

Good job making it to the gym. I didn't make it today, but I have already been 3 times this week and plan to go tomorrow. My favorite workout right now is my lunchtime mini (30 minutes of walking, 2% incline, 3mph with 3lb weights in hand). I feel great afterward. Oh and speaking of boobs... mine have DISAPPEARED. So not fair. My butt has so much more to give.

I am so proud of you, I have not excersiced one time and I know my progress would be 100% better but I can not do it. I will have to start soon! Congratz on you determination. Roz

Congrats! I am going at just about the same pace. I am doing about 30 minutes a day. I usually alternate between biking and the elliptical machine. I wear an pedometer at all times. My goal is to take 5,000-10,000 steps a day. I can barely get 5,000 steps now, and I am okay with that. Before WLS I could not get to 2,000.

My doc released me to do anything I want upon my 5 week checkup. I'm one to go full bore at first, and (hopefully not this time) usually burn myself out. I work in a building that's in a strip mall-type configuration. It takes me 25 minutes to walk around it twice at a brisk pace. I do that at lunch almost every day to get some cardio in. And I go to the gym 3 times a week... there i start on a bike for 10 minutes, then go over to a weight machine to work my abs, then to another for my inner thighs. I follow that with outer thighs and arms. (seems like everything is my "problem area"). haha It usually takes me an hour total before I hit the showers. My surgery was on April 11th... since my beginning weight i've lost 45 lbs, but since surgery only 27.6 - give-or-take... I'm noticing a change in my clothes more than on the dreaded scale. I try not to weigh very often because it's too depressing. The thing that's keeping me going is that i know that my fellow employees are watching me. they notice when i walk and when i dont... so that gets me out there in the heat. One skinny little girl just paid me a compliment today and said that i'm getting skinny... i said "who, me?" and she said yeah, you look really good. I said thanks and laughed as i walked away. It's a really weird thing. I don't know how to handle compliments... and even weirder - men seem to be noticing me.... eek. i have no skills at all about what to do about that... I've never had the problem... geez. i definatly wasn't expecting that!!
